Description

The Centaur CSD-1DF-EC reach-in freezer’s door closes on its own to help retain the interior temperature when loading or grabbing product. With the thermostat, operators can monitor the interior temperature, while the digital LED display simplifies monitoring and gives the unit a modern look. Interior and exterior aluminum construction ensures the unit stands up to heavy use, and, since the interior is white, it is bright and provides a blank product background. In the cabinet, three adjustable, heavy-duty wire shelves hold product and are coated in epoxy for corrosion resistance.
Temperatures in the Centaur CSD-1DF-EC reach-in freezer are maintained by the refrigeration system, which has a bottom-mounted condenser. This design means it does not suck in grease-laden vapors high in the air, though it is more susceptible to dirt and debris on the floor than top-mounted units. With a slide-out design, the condenser is accessible for cleaning and servicing.
